Apple has become the model company for all other businesses. Their success does not come from cheap price points or great advertising, rather it comes from creating products that the customer will love.
Customer satisfaction has been a huge deal for Apple over the years and last year may have been one of their worst years in that category. Of course a majority of people have nothing bad to say but some iPad users were fuming when they found out the iPad mini would not come with retina display. It is 2013 and we living in a world where high definition technology runs rampant so maybe Apple has only themselves to blame for this one. Of course Apple listened to the negative criticism and rather than being stubborn have gone ahead and created the latest instalment of the iPad Mini with Retina Display. In the rest of this blog we will go further into the details about this product and if it is worth purchasing.
As mentioned this latest model of the iPad mini comes with retina display, will this really make a difference for people or do people just love to complain about what they do not have? Truth be told this is a big difference and here is why, people use tablets even more for things like watching videos or playing games than on mobile phone (such as the iPhone). Who wants to stare at low quality resolution when so many are used to high definition. With other tablets using high definition equivalent screens it only made the previous generation iPad seem lacking. Of course this latest model has fixed the biggest weakness.
It is not just about the retina display that makes the iPad Mini with Retina Display a better product than the last generation. The new iPad comes with the highly coveted A7 processor. Apps, videos, and just general tasks will run much smoother than ever before. Apple touts that we will see up to 4x CPU performance and 8x graphics performance better than the previous generation. Heavy usage users will be able to rest with ease knowing their iPad can handle whatever they throw at it.
Do not let the extra power fool you into thinking that the iPad Mini with Retina Display will be a battery hog. Even with its powerful performance and retina display Apple has stated that the iPad will last up to 10 hours. Now as an Apple user I have seen Apple products tout this sort of battery life before and end up with around 7-8 hours, but this is still just as good if not better than most tablets on the market today.
It is pretty cleat the new iPad Mini with retina display is a huge upgrade over the previous generation and something that anyone looking for a new tablet should strongly consider!
